Do’s and Don’ts
-
Please Do
Arrive on time. We recommend 20 minutes prior to your first session and 5 minutes early for subsequent appointments. If you arrive late, your float time will be shortened accordingly.
Give yourself enough time! We suggest 1.5 hours for an hour float and 2 hours for a 1.5 hour float. This gives you time to relax before heading back out into the world.
Shower before entering the tank using the soap only, as well as ensure all small cuts and scratches are covered up with waterproof dressing (provided). This is for hygiene purposes as well as because the salty environment of the float tank will make those cuts sting!
Shower after your float. This time you can also use the shampoo and conditioner provided.
Ask any questions you might have beforehand.
Rinse your ears off after your float to prevent salt crystallization. We provide you with foam earplugs but if you have a hole in your ear, you should bring your own silicone earplugs to wear.
Please note
The water goes through a thorough filtration and UV system and we manually test the water quality after every float. If we require to clean and/or drain the tank after your float, you could be charged a cleaning fee of up to $2000.
